SETUP

Getting ready for over 140 guests takes a lot of planning! Master Gardener teams worked the night before to set up furniture, test equipment and assemble exhibits. Participants began to arrive by 7:30 AM and we were ready !

NETWORKING

A lovely day, continental breakfast, and the huge patio at the JCC Rec. Center provided the opportunity for all to mix and mingle.

SPEAKERS

Symposium co-chairs, Barbara Gustafson and Linda Lucas took excellent care of our general session speakers, Dr. Diane Relf and Dr. Pamela Perkins!

VENDORS

A variety of vendors and exhibits provided information during breaks and at lunch. Carolyn Gaertner prepared easel displays of each of the five therapeutic garden projects conducted by VCE-JCC/W MGs this year. Peg Crews developed a therapeutic gardening resource book of ideas and recipes. Wonderful idea!
