Ladybugs (Ladybird Beetle)

Ladybugs, you have to love them or hate them.  If depends upon if they are infesting your house or your garden.  Ladybugs are one of the most beneficial beetles (they are not bugs).  They have a tremendous appetite for aphids.  Left alone in the garden they will have a feast on the troublesome aphids.

However, in your house they can be a problem.  They love to come in for the winter and can cause problem "black spots" on your walls and ceilings.  If you feel you must get rid of them, please see if you can relocate them outside.  Any farmer or greenhouse operation would love to have them.
