Fig Tree

A Fig Tree requires at least 6 hours of full sun in order to produce fruit.  If planted in the shade: transplant in the fall.  If the tree is too large to transplant, consider removing the object causing the shade.  If this is not practical, you can use cuttings from the tree to produce new fig trees.  See "Cuttings" under Index.

As with most new small plants from the nursery, you might want to consider removing all blooms the first year and half of the blooms the second year in order that the root system can fully develop.
