Cicada Killer Wasps
Cicada
Killer Wasps swarm low over the ground while hunting for Cicada coming out of
hibernation. The males cannot sting
and the females usually do not sting unless disturbed.
You might want to leave them alone unless you are concerned about pets or
children as they will eat the newly hatched larva of the Cicada.
