Amaryllis

After blooming allow the plant to continue to live.  The foliage will nourish the bulb and this energy is what is used to develop new foliage the following year.  Continue to water and fertilize regularly.  By late fall, place pot at 55oF (garage or basement) for 8-10 weeks; withhold water. Re-pot in fresh soil for spring blooming.
